Winter Approaches Gould Lake

Posted by
Robert D. Burr (Kingston, Ontario, Canada) on 2 March 2015 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

As Fall comes to an end, Winter quietly and steadfastly sneaks in, slowly turning water to ice and painting the land white.

As a photographer I enjoy your positive comments about my photographs however, what I would really appreciate is your helpful thoughtful critiques. It is only through your eyes I will learn to work better. I wish I could respond to all your wonderful comments but I may not be able to respond to every one due to time consumption....which I would prefer to use looking at your images but I do read them all and enjoy them. Thank you......Dennis

Merci ...... Den

Wonderful depth in this image ... should we call you Robert ... or Dennis? <grin>

2 Mar 2015 7:42pm

@Judy aka L@dybug: Haha...caught me. It is a family tradition....the oldest boy is named Robert D__ and usually goes by the D name so yes my name is Robert but I go by Dennis to my friends. It can be confusing but I have very few family traditions so I like it....did it to my son also.
