Light Passes Through

Lake Ontario froze into one huge sheet of clear glass-smooth ice this year which was great for skaters, ice boaters and of course photographers.

As a photographer I enjoy your positive comments about my photographs however, what I would really appreciate is your helpful thoughtful critiques. It is only through your eyes I will learn to work better. I wish I could respond to all your wonderful comments but I may not be able to respond to every one due to time consumption....which I would prefer to use looking at your images but I do read them all and enjoy them. Thank you......Dennis

Merci ...... Den

Stunning image Robert, this is what I love about photography being able to capture amazing scenes like this

@Doug: I totally agree Doug....It is amazing the lengths we will go to get these shots....in this case laying on the ice at - 20 C with exposed hands waiting for the precise moment to push the shutter...took forever to get warmed up after this shot.

EXCELLENT! Beautiful light! I like this frame!

@fateme@@: Thank you Fateme. I usually print on 19x13" paper so for this sort of crop I like to add the frame to help fill the the empty space without taking away from the photograph.
